Frequently Asked Questions

I have issues with previous software I had built, can you help?

Of course! Many of our clients have come to us with the same situation you're having. If your current software has issues like: being stuck on an old operating system, having bugs that break basic funtionality, being neglected by your previous dev shop and more, then we can help!

Do you outsource your services?

All of our services are done in-house. However, there have been a few cases where a client wants to build a no-code version of their product to "test the waters." In those cases, we offer the option to outsource that service to a trusted contractor who specializes in building no-code proof of concepts.

Can you help develop functionality and user experience?

You bet! We specialize in creating fully functional software, with a BIG emphasis on user experience. Your users are going to be spending a portion of their valuable time inside your software, so we make sure everything looks great and is easy to understand.

Do you sign NDAs?

Although it's not necessary for the majority of projects, we will certainly provide and sign an NDA if you ask.

Can you work with remote businesses?

Believe it or not, the majority of our clients are actually remote! It's important for us to deliver a quality service whether that's in-person, or over the internet. That's why we use Google Meet, Zoom, and other platforms to communicate efficiently with our clients.

How are intellectual rights handled?

Because your project will be pre-paid out of a retainer, all code written by Deep Fork belongs to you. You're not only buying the time to build your project, but also the intellectual property.

Where are you based out of?

Our software development shop is located in Oklahoma City, OK, but we serve businesses all over the country.

Can your web developers fix my existing web system?

Definitely! There can be a lot of variation in a "fix," but when we discuss your project in the consultation, we'll figure out what exactly needs to be done and how best to do it.

How do I decide if I need a Native or Cross-Platform App?

Most apps these days are built on web platforms, which satisfies the vast majority of needs. However, there are plenty of projects that require native device functionality. Once we learn about your project, we'll provide options and help you decide on the best course of action.

Will I be locked into a software contract?

Because our goal is to cut out "corporate fluff", that means contracts are out the window as well. What business likes being locked into a situation before knowing if they made the right decision? Not us! Instead, we use a SOW (Scope of work) statement to detail what's going to be done, with an optional NDA. That way you can rest easy knowing that no matter what situation arises, you won't be stuck in a long-term development contract.
