Frustrations We Solve Using Software Development

Growth Being Stunted by Off‑the‑Shelf Software.

It's important for small businesses to find a decent software solution that fits a smaller budget. That's where general apps like Quickbooks and Microsoft access shine. However as companies grow, the same tools that worked great before become less efficient, slowing down developed processes.

Paper Documents Becoming Difficult to Trace & Maintain.

Despite the advantages of going paperless, many businesses struggle to move away from their old paper-dependant processes. That's why we help our clients transition smoothly using our unique process. Those who teamed up with us are able to manage documents while saving resources.

Multiple 3rd Party Apps Causing a Frankensteined Process.

A big frustration we see among small business owners is having a process frankensteined together with 3rd party apps. Each app is great for its purpose, whether that's payroll, analytics, etc. But without being connected efficiently into one platform, the apps divide the company into silos.

Unify your company process with software.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have issues with previous software I had built, can your company help?

Of course! Many of our clients have come to us with the same situation you're having. If your current enterprise software solutions have issues like: being stuck on an old operating system, having bugs that break basic funtionality, being neglected by your previous dev shop, issues with an api and more, then we can help!

What's the difference between programming and development?

Programmers and software developers are very similar, however there are a few differences. One key difference is that a programmer specializes in taking ideas and turning them into quality code. A software developer is more creative and has more say in how a project is built. In other words, developers are more like managers that build the blueprint AND create the finished product, while a programmer has very little say over what the blueprint looks like.

Is Oklahoma City custom software any good?

While it's common for top-tier software development teams to be in places such as Silicon Valley or Los Angeles, it's also important to note that Oklahoma City is also home to many influential software teams. The great thing about software is that professionals can complete projects from anywhere. So while we operate in Oklahoma, our team can serve any small business in the United States.

Do you outsource your services outside of the US?

All of our services are done in-house. However, there have been a few cases where a client wants to build a no-code version of their product to "test the waters." In those cases, we offer the option to outsource that project to a trusted contractor who specializes in building no-code proof of concepts.

Can you help develop functionality and user experience on mobile?

You bet! We specialize in creating fully functional applications, with a BIG emphasis on user experience. Your users are going to be spending a portion of their valuable time inside your software, especially on mobile, so we make sure everything looks great and is easy to understand.

Do you sign NDAs?

Although it's not necessary for the majority of projects, we will certainly provide and sign an NDA if you ask.

Can you work with remote businesses in the US?

Believe it or not, the majority of our clients are actually remote! It's important for our business to deliver a quality software whether that's in-person, or over the internet. That's why we use Google Meet, Zoom, and other platforms to communicate efficiently with our clients.

How are intellectual rights handled?

Because your project will be pre-paid out of a retainer, solutions created by Deep Fork belong to you. You're not only buying the time to build your project, but also the intellectual property.

Where are you based?

Deep Fork Technology is proudly based in Oklahoma City and serves businesses all over the country.

Can your web development team fix my existing web system?

Definitely! There can be a lot of variation in a "fix," but when we discuss your project in the consultation, we'll figure out what exactly needs to be done and how best to do it.

How do I decide if I need a single system or multi-system app?

Most apps these days are built on web platforms, which satisfies the vast majority of needs. However, there are plenty of projects that require native device functionality. Once we learn about your project, we'll provide options and help you decide on the best course of action.

Will I be locked into a development contract?

Because our goal is to cut out "corporate fluff", that means contracts are out the window as well. What business likes being locked into a situation before knowing if they made the right decision? Not us! Instead, we use a Scope Of Work statement (SOW) to detail what's going to be done, with an optional NDA. That way you can rest easy knowing that no matter what situation arises, you won't be stuck in a long-term development contract. Even when a project is complete, we continue to support your business needs no matter what.
